Abstract
:
The Kingdom shall ensure the protection, development and conservation of wildlife and the restoration of endangered species to their natural habitats; for this purpose, the Kingdom has established nature reserves for use in tourism, environmental and protected areas. The protected areas regulation was issued in 1436. Which included some penalties for every natural or legal person who violated the regime and attacked the environment and natural reserves. This has led us to research the criminal protection of natural reserves in the Saudi regulation by highlighting the most important crimes affecting natural reserves. In order to achieve the objectives of the research and its inquires, the subject was an introduction and three chapters. While the first chapter was devoted to the substantive rules of the crimes of aggression on natural reserves, the second chapter was devoted to study the rules of procedure for the crimes of aggression on natural reserves; the third chapter was devoted to study the international cooperation in the field of the environment. The research has concluded that the Saudi regulations satisfy the demands for protection .Also expresses the importance of these reserves alongside with organizing and protecting them. The research has also recommended developing a unified system for natural reserves, which collects the scattered systems and establishes specialized prosecutors for environmental crimes. Also assigning specialized judges and courts to consider environmental crimes in which the crimes of natural reserves are included and the specialized, moreover expertise and speed of separation are considered, similar to developed countries.
