Abstract
:
This study aims to disclose the training strategy applied in the King Fahd General Hospital in Jeddah, as well as to identify the impact of this strategy on the performance of the employees. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used descriptive analytical method, obtained the necessary data through questionnaires analyzed statistically for this purpose, Simple random sampling method was used in the selection of the study consisted of (333) from (2794) employees and one employee who is(a doctor-nurse-medical technician-pharmacist- manager). The number of questionnaires that have been completed is(176) questionnaire with response rate of %52.8. The pinding of this study are the following: low performance level of coaches who implement the training programs through information transfer to the trainees and clarify benefits. Thus, this indicates that there is a lack of training methods diversity, required resources, and positive cooperation between the coaches and the performance of employees. The training courses at King Fahd General Hospital in Jeddah do not serve all trainees level in the right manner. This led to poor self, indicated by the absence of a positive correlation in the diversity of the programs and the performance of employees. The time allocated for courses is sufficient and provided information is meeting the job requirements, and tend to the scientific nature of the applied research field. This result the presence of a positive correlation between training curricula and performance of employees. Finally, the study has concluded to number of recommendations in the light of the results, most significant: To reconsider the policy for the selection of the trainers by developing standards that must be met in the coach which can be achieved by asking the trainees for the missing attributes in the current coaches in order to achieve the desired goals of future training process. This choice can be monitored by special Health Affairs committee. Increase the number of training courses taking into account the diversification and innovation in the subjects to serve all operating segments of the King Fahd General Hospital in Jeddah with changing concepts and criteria for selecting trainee and course of their choice. This shall be based on trainee need rather than the traditional methods of inflicting trainee prior received from the central administration should be access to training courses. Keep permanent and continuous development to meet the level of technology used in the training process.
